The Magnolia Mansion

Louisiana, United States

This romantic boutique property is located in the Garden District of New Orleans US and features lavish decor.

The Magnolia Mansion provides themed accommodation, as well as a terrace, a concierge and a library. Honeymoon suites are on offer for those seeking some extra luxury.

Magnolia Mansion, formerly referred to as the Harris-Maginnis House, was purchased by internationally recognized entertainer Hollie Diann Vest and her mother, Wanda Marie Hansen, on the first of October, 2001. Prior to that, the home has had a magnificent and often turbulent history of owners, the most interesting of whom are the Harris family, the Maginnis family, and the New Orleans Chapter of the American Red Cross. The house now spans one and a half centuries of the social life of New Orleans.

Is the mansion haunted? You'll have to find out for yourself! New Orleans is one of the oldest cities in the United States and one of the most haunted cities in the world. Also in the area is the home where the famous Vampire Novelist Anne Rice lived up until recently.

Set in a historic building, each individually designed room is romantically themed in elaborate decor, gorgeous window dressings with Austrian Sheers, black-out curtains & beautiful hardwood floors. The romantic themed rooms at The Magnolia Mansion provide a TV, private baths, complete with a refrigerator. There’s also new contemporary themed rooms which are located outside in the courtyard area.
