Utter Inn

This picturesque hotel is a small cabin floating on the still waters of Mälaren lake, located in the stunning Swedish city of Västeras. The hotel is a 25 square metre floating landing stage.

Utter Inn is one of the artist Mikael Genberg projects. It’s a single underwater room, 3m below the surface, with panoramic windows in all four direction to watch the marine life outside.

At the hotel, there is no electricity, but on the other hand the gas heat and power to the lights.

There is a ban on fishing at the hotel, however you can swim in the lake, or take a peaceful ride with the hotel's inflatable boat to one of the nearby, uninhabited islands.
